The League of Werewolves

Welcome to Runeterra, world in which Summoners control The League of Legends and all of it's champions, world that is about to change.
League was created to settle the conflicts between the constantly warring city-states of Demacia and Noxus, and was considered successful in doing so. In truth, plots of rival's destruction have never stopped. Latest one comes from Noxus, a settlement where the physically and mentally strong acquire power through any means, regardless of the consequences to their fellow citizens. They have finally succeeded in capturing Soraka, a child of the stars, and with her blood, the potion which turned Warwick into a creature both man and wolf, was finally completed and transformation could be controlled. Several soldiers were given the potion and sent to infiltrate Institute of War, and take control of the League that is housing world's best champions, and finally destroy Demacia with their help. Now it is up to a group of Summoners to stop them, and save the world from ruthless Noxus.



The game itself

There are two factions in this game - the Summoners and the Werewolves. These two factions' objective is to kill the other team. The Summoners attempt to identify and vote the Werewolves to be killed during the daytime voting. The Werewolves feast on one Summoner during the night and try to keep their identities hidden.


The roles

The only people on the Werewolf faction are the Werewolves themselves, all of the other roles count as Summoners.

Normal Summoner: Regular player, no special abilities. Votes for the person to be killed next during daytime voting and that's it.
Noxian Werewolf: Also votes during the day, all part of the laying low and keeping hidden. In addition, the Wolves decide on a person to kill during each night. One of the wolves sends the Game Master a PM when the one to be killed that night has been decided. The wolves are aware of the identity of the other wolves.
Summoner Masons: Regular player, no special abilities. The Masons are just like normal Summoners, the only thing special about them is that they know the identities of the other Masons.
Summoner Seer: During the night, the Seer can PM the Game Master a person he or she wishes to "See", and the role of the selected player is revealed to the Seer.
Summoner Guardian Angel: During the night, the Guardian Angel can PM the Game Master the name of another player. If the selected player were to be killed that night, he or she is not killed.
Summoner Vigilante: During the night, the Vigilante can kill off a player he or she suspects of being a Werewolf. However, the Vigilante only has one bullet - his or her ability can only be used once.


Game mechanics


Day: Every player votes for a person to be killed in the daily vote. One votes by posting the name of the person you vote in this thread during the day.

Night: Those with special roles may perform their nightly activities if they wish to (which is recommendable if you have a role. That is, of course, unless you're the Vigilante. You only have one bullet, you need to use it wisely). The special roles' activities are performed by sending the Game Master a PM in which the action is explained.

Every player votes during daytime! Absence and inactivity leads to death, if you don't vote twice, you will die horribly. Be active!


Winning the game

If all of the Werewolves are killed, the Summoners win.

If the number of surviving Summoners becomes equal to or lesser than the amount of surviving Werewolves, the Werewolves win. The reason behind is that if this status is achieved, the werewolves have at least 50% of the votes in the daily voting, and hence they're more or less certain to win anyway.

Rules

1. NEVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, ARE YOU ALLOWED TO REVEAL YOUR ROLE TO THOSE IGNORANT OF IT!
This cannot be emphasized enough, I've seen countless games ruined by newbie players who either broke or ignored this rule. Your role is revealed to those appropriate of knowing it (Masons knowing each other, Werewolves knowing each other, the Seer knowing those he or she checks) when you are alive. You role will be revealed to all the players by the Game Master if/when you die. In addition, revealing your role to those who don't play the game is also prohibited, since they may leak it. Guessing and making assumptions is allowed, but information you are certain about cannot be revealed.
2. EVERYONE votes during the day. Being absent once leads to a warning. Being absent twice leads to death, so be active! (This cannot be emphasized enough either)
3. Dead players are not allowed to reveal roles, assuming they know any.
4. If the daily vote is a tie, the Game Master decides the one to be killed by flipping a coin, for the sake of being fair.
5. If the Guardian Angel is killed during the night while protecting another player, that player is still protected during that night.
6. If the Vigilante uses his or her only bullet on someone protected by the Guardian Angel, the target player survives but the bullet is still consumed.


Final notes

Yes, the theme is League of Legends, half of participants are familiar with it and I've also tried to make the story interesting enough for others, hopefully you'll like it.
You can start posting here to confirm your participation, roles will be distributed shortly after everyone is rounded up and I will make a post that marks the start of game.
Day and night will change every 24 hours, so you have plenty of time to make your posts, just be sure to show up every day, if you are unable to you cannot participate, inactivity has ruined many games.

After two long months the investigation has come to a halt. Twelve summoners stood accused of recent mysterious murders at Institute of War. It was evident that only some of them were guilty, but it was impossible to determine which ones. High Council of Equity has decided to settle this matter in the manner most familiar to them, at Fields of Justice. All twelve suspects will be locked in one arena and innocent ones will be given a chance to expose the murderers.

Hunt begins!



Game starts at roughly 14:00 by GMT+0. You can also use my post as time reference.
From this point you have 24 hours to vote, before day phase is over and night comes. Those that fail to vote more than once are disqualified. Try to be active and not ruin the game for others.
Also try to make your votes visible, use letters colored in blue, yellow, green or any other that stands out in this forum, so I can count the votes easier.

Considering that we have several players new to the game, I will reveal the number of roles, to make it easier. There are 3 werewolves, 3 masons, 3 normal summoners, 1 vigilante, 1 guardian angel and 1 seer.
Random number generator was used to determine roles, so don't make any guesses about my selection. Roles will be distributed shortly.
Feel free to ask if there are any questions.
